Kick appears to be the cool new kid on the streaming platform block. I say 'appears to be' because it isn't quite clear whether the streaming platform is successful or not, given certain allegations regarding bot viewers. While it certainly isn't as big as Twitch, its USP was that it was way more lenient when it came to streaming certain types of content.

With certain streamers becoming more deranged with every passing day, and Kick playing fast and loose with NSFW content moderation, a lot of them jumped the Twitch ship. However, it seems like there's bad news for these streamers, as the platform will now be clamping down on NSFW streams.

As spotted by Dexerto, Kick has announced new rules when it comes to moderating content, especially with regard to hot tub and bikini related streams. This is in lieu of the platform trying to keep its app on the App Store, as Apple made a few changes to its terms and conditions. So, to avoid getting delisted from the store, Kick will be moderating sexual content more strictly than it has till now.

"Starting today we'll be increasing the moderation on nudity and sexual conduct on the platform,” said a post by co-owner Eddie Craven on the Kick Discord server. "This primarily affects the pools, hot tubs, and bikinis section.”

The post mentions that the new moderation regulations mean "No underwear/lingerie/pasties" however, swimwear and bikinis will be allowed. "No sexual activities for subs/money," which Craven made sure to mention includes twerking. “Please avoid trying to push the boundaries on these rules. We’ll likely update them in accordance with how receptive people are.”

The 'Pools, Hot Tubs and Bikinis' category is one of the major draws of Kick. However, with these new regulations in place, it might affect the overall viewership of the streaming platform.

Just to give you an idea of how lenient Kick was before these new rules were put in place, Twitch streamer Heelmike decided to test out the rules. He did so by actually receiving head on livestream. The result was only a one day ban after over 15,000 viewers watched it.

"1-day ban on Kick after avg 15k views and honestly I got lost in the sauce and was over the top. I'll be back with the energy but not being disrespectful. This is why Kick is the GOAT, because they reach out and tell creators what they did wrong," Tweeted Heelmike after he received the ban.

However, one streamer took it to another level by actually having sex with a prostitute while on stream. The streamer known as Suspendas didn't even receive a one-day ban like in the case of Heelmike.
