Throughout Marvel's history, it has delivered new versions of its heroes and villains across all media. One variant we have seen is what it would look like if certain characters turned into a Symbiote. Marvel Snap leans into this with its multitude of Venomized cards.

The Marvel Snap Venomized variants carry all sorts of different takes on characters. While upping the horror aspects, we get some that evoke different styles and feelings when seeing the character infused with Venom. From some that look like Dark Souls bosses to keeping clothes on, we see all sorts of inspired twists on these cards.

10 Cloak

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Cloak

Cloak's many variants see different perspectives on the character who lives up to his name. In some, the cloak is simply a cloak. Others, it consumes him into a shadowy figure. The Venomized version turns both the man and the cloak itself into Venom.

The typical expression of Venom remains as he stares, looking for someone to eat. The Symbiote humanoid is not the only thing ready to eat. The cloak itself has a mouth where his head is, while teeth scatter around the Venomized fabric. If any Symbiote were to eat someone, this is one you don't want feasting upon your flesh.

9 Cosmo

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Cosmo

No card in Marvel Snap is cuter than Cosmo. The powerful Ongoing card has fetched bones in space and taken a dip in the ocean with friendly dolphins and fish. This time, we get a Symbiote version that is less of a playful monster and more of the dog's transformation from The Thing.

Many of the Venomized variants tend to be full transformation. In Cosmo's case, we see the process as part dog, part Symbiote. It is a traumatic card to look at as the cute pup slowly turns into a slimy creature.

8 Deadpool

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Deadpool

Deadpool is known for many things, from breaking the fourth wall to his love for hacking bad guys to pieces. The Venomized variant maintains personality traits by keeping the horror of a Symbiote with a touch of dark humor for the Merc with a Mouth.

The terrifying Venomized Deadpool stands to terrify citizens as he stands on top of a food truck. It is hard to see what he is eating, it looks like a sandwich, but we see an ice cream cone logo on the truck. Surely, whatever he has grabbed will be a tasty treat in between whatever killing he has certainly done.

7 Gambit

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Gambit

A Symbiote often transforms a person completely, but in Gambit's case, he got to keep his clothes and wavy hair. Still, the version maintains the grittiness that Venom has across his many forms.

One of the striking creative takes on this Gambit is the cards that he throws out in some of his other variants. We have seen playing cards and Tarot cards before. This time around, we get the connection that Spider-Man has to Venom, with the iconic Spider symbol getting tossed right at us.

6 Hela

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Hela

Hela is already an intimidating villain, but when fused with Venom, then you get something nightmarish. By aiming at a lower angle, she gets a more imposing stance as she roars into the open environment.

The black and green give it an old-school horror movie aesthetic that blends the two characters. Hela does maintain her spiky headpiece, which fits the sharpness that Venom variants tend to have. While she can already be a devastating six-cost card in-game, she gets that frightening look to add to her power.

5 Hellcow

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Hellcow

No matter the style, Hellcow always looks perfect for a horror movie with its devilish eyes and how it snarls at you. Getting infused with Venom makes one of the scariest-looking cards that much more perfect to put some fear in your opponent.

Not every Venomized variant has the Spider-Man reference, but this Hellcow must have some connection with the white Spider logo on the chest of the cow. The cow is covered in gooey Symbiote goop and even its cape has pieces of it coming apart like the rest of the blue skin.

4 Lady Sif

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Lady Sif

Lady Sif's Venomized variant makes her look like a boss in a FromSoftware Soulslike who would likely endlessly pummel you. The black, red, white, and pink coloring on her, her sword, and the background can make that Dark Souls music start to play in your head.

In some variants, artists get creative to transform the character while having some resemblance. The helmet and fur lying on her shoulders maintain that visual identity of Lady Sif. Still, it is full Venom mode with the slithering tongue and nightmarish white eyes.

3 Thor

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Thor

Coming from Asgard, the look of Thor for his Venomized variant complements Lady Sif. While most of this category of variants has each card standing on its own stylistically, this pair goes together, even by how they turn toward the opposite direction of one another.

Similarly to Lady Sif with Thor's Dark Souls aesthetic, we get a specific color palette of blue, black, red, and white. His helmet, tattered cape, and lightning-shooting weapon get the Symbiote treatment. This gives a dark level-up for one of the most powerful Avengers.

2 Nova

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant Nova

Nova is often found in space across his variants, but this time around, we get a Symbiote twist. While some, like Thor and Lady Sif, become nearly unrecognizable, this design of Nova strikes a balance between the character's identifiable qualities and Venom.

The glow of Nova's powers adds to his enhancements from the Symbiote. While his one-cost does not mean he is mighty in Marvel Snap, it ups his presence on the field. The blue-styled Venom skin pops from the glowing outline, the panels on his chest, and his eyes. Including the galactic background, this variant pops on the field with its colors.

1 White Queen

Marvel Snap Venomized Variant White Queen

While some Venomized variants have blue skin, others have white. We get an homage to Anti-Venom with the take of a Venomized White Queen featuring a white-skinned Symbiote, with hints of black to add a little topping to this already incredible piece of character art.

The main piece of White Queen that remains is her cape, which gets the Symbiote treatment. It is infused into her body, which looks more skin-like than the other Venomized variants. When you look at her claws and tongue, then you get that reminder that this certainly is Venom, even with a different look.
