Destiny 2's Season of the Deep features dozens of new weapons for Guardians to chase, ranging from entirely new Exotic guns to some fan-favorite reprisals from Season of the Drifter. Fans of nearly every weapon archetype have something special they can chase this season, either from this season's new Salvage activity or fishing minigame.
This guide will showcase every new weapon that was added this season, its base archetype, and showcase where you can obtain them. We cover everything from Exotic weapons to world pool weapons.
Updated May 27th, 2023, by Charles Burgar: The Ghosts of the Deep dungeon is now available for players to farm, introducing four new Legendary weapons and an Exotic Trace Rifle. We've updated this article to include the new Ghosts of the Deep weapons and added The Navigator to the Exotics section.
New Exotics
Season of the Deep features three new Exotics to chase. Centrifuse is obtained from the Season Pass. The second Exotic is The Navigator, a Strand Trace Rifle from the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon that grants Woven Mail if used on allies. The third Exotic this season is currently unknown.

Exotic Perk | Overcharge Capacitor: Sprinting, sliding, and firing this weapon builds up a temporary electrostatic charge, increasing range and reload speed. Final blows with high charge cause explosions, and maximum charge explosions blind targets. |
Trait | Regenerative Motion: Sprinting gradually reloads this weapon. |

Weapon Archetype | Trace Rifle (1,000 RPM) |

Exotic Perk | Protective Wave: Firing this weapon at an ally grants Woven Mail to both the user and the target. |
Trait | Weft Cutter: Dealing sustained damage severs the target. |
Seasonal Weapons
Completing the Salvage activity on Titan will award players with Deep's new seasonal weapons. All seasonal weapons are Taken variants of Season of the Drifter's Reckoning weapons. These Taken variants have different damage types and weapon frames than their original versions. All six of these weapons come with the Unsated Hunger origin trait, increasing the weapon's handling, reload speed, and stability when no abilities are charged.
This season also brought back all six of the Drifter's original Reckoning weapons: Spare Rations, Bug-Out Bag, Outlast, Last Man Standing, Sole Survivor, and Just in Case. Unlike the Taken variants, these guns did not receive any damage or RPM changes. Non-Taken Reckoning weapons roll with the Disaster Plan origin trait, increasing the weapon's flinch resistance and range for its next shot upon picking up ammunition. These weapons are obtained by participating in this season's fishing activity—yes, this season added a dedicated fishing activity—or through the H.E.L.M.'s Engram Focusing menu.

Last Wish Weapon Refresh
All Last Wish weapons have been updated to support Destiny 2's weapon crafting system. All weapons in Last Wish received a perk pool refresh and the Explosive Pact origin trait, granting the weapon bonus stability and reload speed after activating a grenade ability. Healing grenades and grenade final blows grant additional stacks of this bonus.
Unlike most raids, Last Wish does not have a Spoils chest. That role has been taken by Hawthorne. Purchasing the weekly Last Wish bounty from Hawthorne and completing it will guarantee a red border drop. This will also allow you to purchase Last Wish weapons from Hawthorne until the weekly reset, requiring Spoils of Conquest for each weapon purchase.
To prevent table bloat, we'll just be showcasing the archetypes of each weapon and their damage type. If you're interested in what these guns can roll with, click on the weapon in each table. It'll take you to the light.gg website to see all the new rolls. We'll have god roll recommendations for these weapons in the near future.

Loot Pool Additions
Season of the Deep has added a handful of weapons to the core loot pool, including new guns in ritual activities, Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, and world drops. World pool guns have a chance to drop from any Legendary Engram, while all other weapons are obtained from their respective playlist activity.
It's also worth noting that Lightfall owners can now obtain the "Parting the Veil" quest by speaking to Nimbus on Neomuna. Completing this quest will grant Epochal Integration, a 140 RPM Hand Cannon that deals Solar damage. It matches the Hand Cannon seen on Lightfall's cover art. This weapon always rolls with Keep Away and Stats for All in column three, paired with Eye of the Storm and Incandescent in the fourth column.

Season Of The Deep Ritual Weapon
This season's ritual weapon is Last Rite, a 120 RPM Tex Mechanica Scout Rifle that deals Kinetic damage. Similar to Long Arm, this weapon does not feature the pinpoint hip-fire accuracy of Dead Man's Tale. This weapon's niche is its unique perk combination of Reconstruction and Focused Fury, allowing you to proc Focused Fury by using Reconstruction's extra magazine capacity. It also comes with Keep Away and Opening Shot. You can obtain this weapon by increasing your Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit Rank to Rank 16 during this season.
