In the world of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal isn't just a Jedi on a mission. He can also be a botanist and a marine biologist. As you journey across Koboh and Jedha, there are plenty of sights to see and items to collect. But, perhaps, one of the most satisfying elements of Koboh is filling up Pyloon's Saloon with an eclectic assortment of patrons and populating the structure's upstairs fish tank.

That's right, there are plenty of strange, alien fish to be found across Koboh and Jedha. But you'll need Skoova Stev's help to find them all and make the aquarium in Pyloon's the centerpiece it was truly meant to be.

How To Unlock The Fish Tank

As you work on building up the crowd over at Pyloon's Saloon, you'll eventually speak to a Prospector, beginning the quest for a Mystery Fisherman rumor. Just follow the map indicator to find a short and stout alien critter by the name of Skoova Stev. This scallywag is decked out in scuba gear and is ready to go fishing while talking your ear off about the aquatic life he's after.

Each time you locate Skoova Stev, he'll have something interesting to share about the fish that he's taking back to Pyloon's aquarium. But if you are sure to listen to all of his dialogue options, he'll tell you a wild tale of his history.

How To Clean The Fish Tank

If you're worried about the murky state of your aquarium, fear not. Your fish tank will become cleaner as you catch more fish.

Foothill Falls - See Fish

This tends to be the first place that you actually locate Skoova Stev. You just take the mountain pass near Pyloon's. At the fork in the road, you turn left and zipline to a new plateau where you will find Skoova Stev hovering over a pond.

Speak to him here in order to watch him dive for the See fish.

Mountain Ascent - Mee Fish

This is the next best fish to locate as it's just a little further up the Mountain Pass. If you climb the wall on the other side of the pond in the Foothill Falls and head through the tunnel, you'll find the Mountain Ascent Meditation Point.

Continue right from here and dash through two green force fields (if you've acquired that ability in the main storyline). On the other side, you can look down to see a waterfall with another pond and Skoova Stev ready to fish once again for the elusive Mee Fish. Talk to him in order to watch him take the plunge and collect the new species for the aquarium.

Viscid Bog - Glottsamcrab

Map of the Viscid Bog in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor

You can find this one by following the mainline story. In the mission where you head to the Lucrehulk to retrieve Zee, you'll enter the Viscid Bog. There is a meditation point named the Viscid Bog that you can obtain after you complete the Zee rescue mission. However, on your way to finding Zee, you will land on an island in the bog with a little hut where you will find Ziggy from the Saloon.

On the edge of this island, you can find Skoova Stev fishing in the murky depths of the bog. He'll produce a Glottsamcrab for the aquarium back at the saloon if you talk to him here.

Gorge Crash Site - Frilled Newt

This one is pretty easy to find. You simply need to fast travel back to the Gorge Crash Site Meditation point that you activated early on during your journey on Koboh to find Greez. This will place you right in front of a large elevator that will take you up to another plateau. Instead of going to the elevator, however, veer left.

In this direction, you will find Skoova Stev fishing away for a Frilled Newt to add to the collection. Spark up a chat with the intrepid explorer, and he'll share more of his history with you at this point.

Devastated Settlement - Blinding Rayfish

While you can travel to the Devastated Settlement Meditation Point (if you've already completed this portion of the story), it's easier to actually travel to the Grand Courtyard Meditation Point. This will position you on the highest point over the region. Turn around and look over the gorge from here. To the right you will see a pillar with grass and a pool of water. Take a Relter and glide over there with ease.

You likely also spotted Skoova Stev on this pillar which is also a dead giveaway. He's fishing for the Blinding Rayfish and will acquire for the Saloon when you speak to him.

Bygone Settlement - Blue-Finned Crayfish

Remember when you went through the Forrest Array and found Dagan Gera battling the centuries-old Jedi for the first time? Afterward, you tamed a Nekko and wandered into the Bygone Settlement Region where you found a Sandcrawler with Jawas and buildings along the rock walls. This is where you need to be. You can fast travel to the Bygone Settlement's Meditation Point.

If you travel back through the canyon like you're heading toward the Forrest Array area, you'll run into Skoova Stev near some pools of water on the right side. He's hunting for the Blue-Finned Crayfish.

Rift Passage - Big-Mouth Faa

If you have the Rift Passage Meditation point activated, then fast travel here to find Skoova Stev fishing in a square pool. It's literally right next to the Meditation Point. If you haven't been here yet, you will pass through here on your way back from a mainline story mission much later in the game. But you can access it pretty easily by heading along the upper left-side ridge when traveling through the woods to the Forest Array.

Speak to Skoova Stev, and he'll tell you all about the Big-Mouth Faa. And, this fish will, of course, be added to your aquarium.

Rambler's Reach Outpost - Fingerlip Garpon

This one is near the fun settlement in Rambler's Reach. If you head from the saloon to the Nekko Stables, you can then find the river bed on the other side of the stables. Skoova Stev will be down there.

Hop down and speak to the alien. You'll then acquire the Fingerlip Garpon for the Pyloon's aquarium.

Phon'qi Caverns - Viscid Lurker

Map of Phon'qi Caverns in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor

This might be the most difficult location to reach to grab the fish. The Phon'qi Caverns are not a location that you will travel through for a mainline quest. But there is a side quest that will bring you down there and there's plenty of danger too.

When heading up the mountain pass, find the location at which you met Skoova Stev in the Foothill Falls. Turn left, and take a Relter across the chasm to the other side. You'll have to deal with some Bedlam Raiders. On the side of the building over on this part of the mountainous region, there's a cellar. You can rip the door off of it with the Force and hop down.

Down there, you will find T-1N8, a droid you can recruit to the Saloon. If you continue, you can find a Meditation Point and a structure you can lift with the Force to jump down into the caverns. Beware of B1 Droid bombers.

If you continue along the path, you will have to confront another Rancor and droids. However, once you reach an area where you hop down to multiple lower levels, there will be a pool of water on the far side where you can locate Skoova Stev fishing for the Viscid Lurker.

Smuggler's Tunnels - Barbed Hookfish

Map of Smuggler's Tunnels in Jedi Survivor

This is easiest to locate right after completing the Phon'qi Caverns side quest. At the end of this side quest, you will jump down a tunnel of water and swim out to another underground pond that will actually be in the Smuggler's Tunnels. In fact, the moment you surface, you should see Skoova Stev docked and ready to fish.

Head over to the little alien to learn about the Barbed Hookfish.

Crypt of Uhrma (Jedha) - Fantailed Laa

Map of the Crypt of Uhrma In Jedi Survivor

Apparently, Skoova Stev makes the jump over to Jedha for two special finds, in particular. The first is located in the Crypt of Uhrma. Head to that Meditation Point, and take an immediate right. Follow the path and defeat Stormtroopers along the way. Eventually, you'll end up in a cave with wind chimes. Head into the crypt entrance from here, and you will find a mysterious door with pillars that you can pull out of it with the Force.

To solve this puzzle, you will find a structure along the path to Pilgrim Sanctuary that would indicate which pillars to pull. But the answer is also available for you here. Pull out the following pillars:

  • Top row, far left
  • Bottom row, center left
  • Bottom row, center right
  • Top row, far right

Inside, you'll receive some goodies like another stim. You'll also find a pool of water where Skoova Stev hunts the Fantailed Laa. Talk to him to add it to your aquarium.

Anchorite Base (Jedha) - Snakefish

Map of the Anchorite Base in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

This one is much easier to find than the other Jedha location. Just fast travel to the Anchorite Base Meditation Point which is just outside the front entrance. Head to the left in the desert to find a pool of water where Skoova Stev is located.

Here, he'll be fishing for the Snakefish. Once you talk to him, that should complete your aquatic collection.
