Epic Games oftentimes hosts Fortnite website events, and those that participate are usually awarded with great cosmetic items that they can then rock in-game. Now, influencers and Creative map builders are coming together in a competition to see who makes the coolest map, and fans will be the ones to decide who comes out on top.
If you participate in this limited-time event, you will get the chance to earn two rewards that will then be added to your Fortnite locker. Follow this guide to learn how to get your hands on these items.
How To Participate In The Creative Builders Challenge
The Creative Builders Challenge will have three separate phases, and everyone in the community will be crucial in deciding how it all turns out.
To participate in the Creative Builders Challenge, you have to visit the official Creative Builders Fortnite website and log in with your Epic Games account so that it can register and track who to grant the rewards to afterward.
Creative Builders Challenge Phases
The event will run from April 17 until May 13, so if you want to participate and earn both rewards, you should keep an eye on the calendar and check back once a new phase starts.
- Phase One (April 17 - April 20): Voters will decide on the challenge theme
- Phase Two (April 21 - May 3): Content Creator's teams will build their maps
- Phase Three (May 6 - May 12): Voters will try out all maps and decide their favorite
Results will be announced on May 13. The website has a countdown in the Schedule section so that you can be sure about every phase's timing.
Voters will only need to be active during Phase One and Phase Two.
Creative Builders Challenge Rewards
You will receive the Cuddle Cube spray if you help choose the challenge theme before Phase Two begins on April 21.
During Phase Three, you can earn the Lil' Sweeties harvesting tool, but it'll take some extra effort.
You have to try out all six islands that were created according to the chosen theme and vote for your favorite before May 13.
There is no use voting for a random island simply to receive the Lil' Sweetie harvesting tool. Since you logged in with your Epic Games account to participate in this event, Epic can track whether or not you've actually played the island and are being truthful in making a decision.
According to the FAQ section of the website, although they were previously unreleased, these rewards are not exclusive to this challenge and could be made available in the future.
It is very likely that the Lil' Sweeties pickaxe will only become available as a purchasable Item Shop cosmetic.
