Exploration is quite a big part of Honkai: Star Rail, and it's also one of the main methods to get Stellar Jades in the game. Although, the planets in this game aren't entirely open-world since you can't roam around anywhere you want. Instead, they're divided into smaller sections.

The good part about this is that the game has mentioned the number of regular chests in each area, and the other chests are marked on the map. Kai's Navigation Compass puzzles can give you a bunch of chests, and they run for three days in the game.
Where To Find Kai's Navigation Puzzle
You'll have to progress quite a bit in the game if you want to unlock this puzzle since it's located on the third planet called The Xianzhou Luofu. You have to finish the main story in Herta Space Station and Jarilo-VI to get here. Even when you're here, you'll have to progress the story quite a bit.
Keep going until you unlock an area called Cloudford. In this area, you will be able to see two ports extending outward to the left side. The bottom port will have a special puzzle symbol, which marks the location of the required puzzle.
How To Solve All Navigation Compass Puzzles
Once you reach the location, you'll be able to talk to Kai who'll tell you that he needs someone reliable to direct the Freight Starskiffs to this area since he's swarmed with work. You'll be able to solve these puzzles four times each day, and here are all the solutions:

How To Find Ziqiao In Honkai: Star Rail
Ziqiao is a special NPC that you need only for the second day of Kai's Navigation Compass puzzles. To find her, head over to your map and switch to the Central Starskiff Haven of The Xianzhou Luofu. Teleport to the right Space Anchor at the top of this area and use the stairs above the Anchor on the map to go down.
Once you're downstairs, keep going to your left until you find the required NPC. When you talk to them, they'll tell you that the reward was cash-on-delivery and you'll have to pay 1,000 Credits to get it. Unfortunately, this reward isn't worth it since you'll only get your 1,000 Credits back and ten Strale from the chest.
Strale is a special currency that can be used to buy Fire Trailblazer Constellations and other items at the Xianzhou Luofu shop.
Spending a certain number of Strales will give you Star Rail Passes and Stellar Jades among other rewards.
How To Find Yujin In Honkai: Star Rail
The final puzzle in Kai's Navigation Compass won't open the Freight Starskiff. When you get close to the door, there'll be a person inside who will beg you to get their clothes from a person named Yujin first. This NPC can also be found in the Central Starskiff Haven area of the Xianzhou Luofu.
This time around, you need to teleport to the southern Space Anchor and simply keep going south. Yujin will be standing in front of a closed shop in the area and she'll give you the required clothes for free. Get the clothes back to the Starskiff to claim your final Precious Chest.
You'll also get an achievement called A Drop In The Bucket, which symbolizes the fact that you've finished all puzzles here.
You have to open the final chest to get this achievement, and you won't get it by simply solving the puzzles.
