Best Weapons

Genshin Impact Kuki Shinobu Elemental Skill

The flexibility of this character provides you with a variety of choices for her weapon and most of them aren't hard to get. Here are all the weapons that you can use on Kuki depending on your desired playstyle.

Weapon Name

Secondary Stat

Passive

Favonius Sword

Energy Recharge

Kuki's Crit hits have a chance of recharging six Energy for her.

Iron Sting

Elemental Mastery

Whenever Kuki deals Electro DMG, it increases all of her DMG.

Prototype Rancour

Physical DMG Bonus

Kuki's Normal and Charged attack hits increase her ATK and DEF up to four times.

Amenoma Kageuchi

ATK Percentage

Kuki gains a succession seed when she uses her Elemental Skill. She can have up to three seeds. When Elemental Burst is used, all of her seeds are consumed recharging Energy for her.

Aquila Favonia

Physical DMG Bonus

Increases Kuki's ATK. Moreover, whenever she takes damage, it heals her and deals additional DMG to the surrounding opponents.

Freedom-Sworn

Elemental Mastery

Increases Kuki's DMG. Further, every time Kuki triggers an Elemental Reaction, ATK and Normal, Charged, and Plunging ATK DMG for all the party members is increased.

Most of the weapons mentioned above support different playstyles so let's look at them separately.

Favonius Sword

This weapon has one sole purpose, and that is to get Kuki's Elemental Burst back as fast as possible. While it has a ton of Energy Recharge, its passive also provides a significant amount of Energy Particles. Kuki's Elemental Burst can trigger an Electro reaction up to six times if you trigger it when her HP is below 50 percent. Hence, this weapon is perfect if you're trying to use her as a Support that triggers a lot of reactions. It is best used in Electro-Charged and Overload teams involving Kuki.

Iron Sting And Freedom-Sworn

Both of these weapons provide Kuki with Elemental Mastery while buffing the damage when she uses her skills. These swords are also an amazing fit for the Reaction-based playstyle as the more EM you have, the more damage your reactions will do. Further, Freedom-Sworn can buff the damage of your entire team which can help your main DPS as well.

Amenoma Kageuchi

While the ATK Percentage provided by the Sub-Stat is nice, the main reason to use this weapon is its passive as it heavily synergizes with Kuki. Usually, whenever you start a fight, your characters will be at full health, and you will have to use your Elemental Skill at least two times to bring Kuki's HP below 50 percent where she shines. This weapon's passive activates as you do that helping you regain your Energy for Elemental Burst back very quickly.

Prototype Rancour And Aquila Favonia

Even though these weapons stand out, they can be extremely good for Kuki utilizing a specific playstyle. Her normal attack talent has unusually high percentages for her Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks. So, using Kuki Shinobu as an on-field Physical DPS is a viable strategy. Both of these weapons support this playstyle while increasing her damage output.

Best Artifact Sets

Genshin Impact's artifact inventory

Just like the weapons, Shinobu can use a variety of artifact sets.

Artifact Name

Two-Piece Bonus

Four-Piece Bonus

Tenacity of the Millelith

+20% HP

When Kuki's Elemental Skill hits an enemy, the ATK and Shield Strength of the entire party are increased.

Noblesse Oblige

+20% Elemental Burst DMG

Increases the entire party's ATK by 20% for 12 seconds after using Elemental Burst.

Thundering Fury

+15% Electro DMG Bonus

Increases all Electro Reaction damage by 40% and decreases the CD for Elemental Skill by one second every time an Electro Reaction is triggered.

Pale Flame

+25% Physical DMG Bonus

When her Elemental Skill hits an opponent, it increases her ATK by 9% for seven seconds. Gaining two stacks of this provides a 100% bonus on her two-piece effect.

All the artifact sets mentioned above focus on different playstyles for Kuki.

Tenacity And Noblesse

Both of these sets are perfect if you're planning to use Kuki as a Support character. The only way to get Tenacity is to farm its domain but it provides added HP, which can help Kuki heal much more.

On the other hand, Noblesse can also be acquired by Strongboxing your Artifacts but the Elemental Burst DMG bonus doesn't help her much because Kuki doesn't deal enough damage on her Burst. Overall, Tenacity of the Millelith would be Kuki's best in-slot Artifact set for a Support playstyle.

Thundering Fury

This Artifact Set is perfect for Kuki if you're planning to use her in reaction-based team composition. The reaction damage increase is extremely significant, but it also means that you won't be having the ATK bonus for your party and her healing ability will reduce significantly. Moreover, Thundering Fury can be a particularly painful domain to farm.

Pale Flame

This is for the Physical Main DPS Kuki enjoyers out there. The Artifact set is entirely based around dealing Physical Damage and the passive almost seems like it's made for her. She can easily gain up to a 50 percent Physical DMG bonus and keep it active at all times especially if you have her Constellation two.

Talent Priority

Kuki Shinobu creating many purple crystals in the air.

Just like every other character in Genshin Impact, Kuki Shinobu also has three active and three passive talents in her kit. The active talents can be upgraded using materials up to level ten while the passive ones stay at level one.

If you're an avid Kuki player you will want to upgrade all of her talents as much as you can. But, sometimes, there's just not enough material to do so and you need to prioritize them. Her talent priority also depends on the play style you choose.

  • For the Healing Support playstyle, you'd want to focus on her Elemental Skill first, followed by her Elemental Burst, and finally her Normal Attack. It is worth noting here that you'll most likely never use her basic attacks in this play style so you can also leave her Normal Attack Talent at level one.
  • Secondly, for the Reaction-based Support style, the Elemental Skill and the Elemental Burst take equal priority, so you can upgrade either one of them first. Again, it is not required to level up your Normal Attacks.
  • Finally, for the Physical DPS playstyle, you'd want to level up her Normal Attacks first, Elemental Skill after that, and finally Elemental Burst.

Kuki Shinobu Constellations

Kuki Shinobu in a black background with purple magic around her.

Kuki has a set of six Constellations that buff her skills in different ways. While she's not a Constellation-reliant character, she has some unique and interesting ones.

  1. Increases the area of effect for her Elemental Burst by 50 percent.
  2. Increases the duration of her Elemental Skill by three seconds.
  3. Increases the level of her Elemental Skill by three levels.
  4. Every five seconds, whenever a character is within Kuki's Elemental Skill and their Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks hit enemies, a Thundergrass Mark lands on them dealing 9.7 percent of Kuki's HP as AoE Electro DMG.
  5. Increases the level of her Elemental Burst by three levels.
  6. Shinobu gains 150 Elemental Mastery when her HP drops below 25 percent for 15 seconds. Further, whenever she takes a Lethal hit, Kuki doesn't succumb to death and instead lives with one HP. This effect can trigger once every 60 seconds.
