The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers you the kind of freedom very few other games do. If you can imagine it, and it adheres to the game's physics, it will work. As we've seen since launch, players have built things like an ATV with suspension, an actual working engine, and even Metal Gear Rex to clear out Bokoblins.

While we've seen creations that can do almost anything you can think of, there isn't yet an invention that can launch Link into the air quite like Hyrule's Skyview Towers. You know where this is going – somebody has once again created something incredible in Tears of the Kingdom. However, Paradox_Guardian's machine is able to launch Link into the sky all the way from the Depths below at incredible speeds.

It took them some time to figure it out, but Paradox_Guardian has used the motor from the Gemimik Shrine and a newly discovered glitch in a very clever way. The first video below is of the machine which, as you can see, launches Link miles into the sky. The motor spins a wooden plank, acting as a launcher, but for some reason, using Ultrahand makes it spin much faster, reaching speeds of even 1080 Kph according to them.

In a separate video, they show how you can make the Gemimik Shrine motor available whenever you want. You'll first have to visit the shrine and Fuse the motor to a shield so you can access it later. Then, head over to the little Goron in Tarrey Town, who will disassemble the motor and the shield. After that, just Fuse a small object to the motor, in this case a piece of Zonite, and add it to your favourites in Autobuild. You'll now be able to spawn it anywhere.

Using this method, Paradox_Guardian managed to create a sort of launcher which can send Link flying into the air all the way from the Depths. This is just the latest example of how players have been breaking the game using its own rules.

"I call this machine the Paracopter. It makes use of a glitchy effect of the Gemimik Shrine motor," they said. "This one is pretty fast, so you want to time your Recall when the plank is about flat. I am still messing with it to try to improve its consistency, but so far, it looks easier than the spear launch!

Now here's the kicker – "I was curious, so I looked in my video editor. Towards the start of the launch, Link was moving about 11 metres per frame. That's 330 metres per second. The speed of sound in air is 343 metres per second. We are really close to supersonic launches and the game is less than a month old."
