Whether you prefer sprawling dungeons or short caves, these shrine puzzles will sharpen your mind as you acclimate to the many challenges in Hyrule. You'll have a chance to test out your abilities like Ascend and Ultrahand quite often, and that's certainly true of Turakawak Shrine in particular.

Where is Turakawak Shrine?

The Turakawak Shrine is located in the Tabantha Frontier. It is to the north of the Gerudo Highlands and just south of Hyrule Ridge.

If you've unlocked the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, then feel free to use that to get to the shrine quickly via paragliding.

Turakawak Shrine Solution

Link enters the Turakawak Shrine Room 1 in The Legend Of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Once you reach the shrine itself, you'll find one more obstacle preventing you from entering: a patch of thorny vines.

Simply burn these nuisances and the route into the shrine will be cleared.

You can start a fire with flint and wood, use a torch, toss a fire fruit, or whatever method you prefer to dispose of the thorns.

Enter the portal and let's get that shrine chest out of the way first this time; it will only take a few seconds.

Shrine Chest

Link prepares to use Ascend in Turakawak Shrine in The Legend Of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Once you enter the shrine, you'll be in a large room with two boxes on the ground; leave them there for now.

Look up and locate the indent in the ceiling with a grate instead of the normal white shrine blocks.

Ascend through the grated portion of the ceiling, and you'll find yourself trapped in a small cage with the shrine chest.

Open the chest to receive a Magic Rod, then use Ascend once more to escape from the cage and continue with the shrine.

Shrine Puzzle

From the top of the cage, jump down and head down the hole in the floor to return to the initial room of the shrine.

Remember the two boxes from earlier?

Now you need to attach them and place the new two-stack by the ladder leading up the hole you came down through.

When you are attaching the boxes, make sure the top one is unevenly sticking over the edge; you'll need it that way soon.

Link moves the Turakawak Shrine Boxes in The Legend Of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Once you have the new stack under the hole, head up the ladder yourself or simply Ascend through the floor to get back up.

From the top floor, use Ultrahand to bring the boxes up to the top floor.

On the top floor, grab the third box and use it as a base with your other two stacked boxes.

Ensure that the top box is still sticking out over the edge.

Place the stacked boxes next to the wall where the final platform is.

Now, stand under the boxes and Ascend so that you come out on top of the box that was hanging over the edge. On the next floor, you'll see the statue and the end of the shrine.

Approach the statue and speak to it; the Turakawak Shrine is complete.
