As you move from Lookout Landing to the rest of the map, you'll need to find shrines to build up your stamina and heart containers. Given its proximity to the starting area, Susuyai Shrine is a great option to hit on your way to explore the map. It will serve as an excellent introduction into the many possible solutions each shrine has.

Where Is Susuyai Shrine?

  • Coordinates: -0791, -0441, 0017

The Susuyai Shrine can be found in Hyrule Field in the center of the map.

Make your way southwest from the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower to locate the shrine.

You'll find it on a flat landing adjacent to some trees.

Susuyai Shrine Room One Solution

Link enters Susuyai Shrine.

First, you'll need to enter the shrine and head down the stairs, taking note of the cars that drive across the sand and disappear into the walls.

Before starting on the main puzzle solution, you can easily get the shrine's reward chest to kick things off.

Reward Chest

Link grabs the chest to claim the Susuyai Shrine Rewards.

You'll spot the shrine's reward chest on the middle car of the three when you first enter the room.

There are a few ways you can approach boarding the car and collecting your reward.

It's best to use Ultrahand to completely remove the car from the sand, then hit the wheel to stop it for good.

Open the chest and collect five arrows as your reward from your chest, but don't dump the car, you're going to need it.

Puzzle Solution

Link prepares to ride a car in the Susuyai Shrine.

Returning to the shrine's puzzle, take the car you grabbed and position it, so the wheels are facing toward the opposite end of the sand, past where the cars were driving.

Once in position to move forward, board the car.

Hit the wheel to ride to the other end of the shrine until you make it to a platform.

A gate is blocking your path to the finish.

From the car, turn right and take note of the crank on the raised platform, up a small set of stairs.

Link approaches a crank in Susuyai Shrine.

You need to turn the crank – three times will do – so that it continuously opens and closes the large gate beside you.

Once you've turned the crank, approach the gate and turn back toward the crank.

Use Recall on the crank to cause the gate to open and close repeatedly.

Link uses his Recall ability in Susuyai Shrine.

Enter the gate as it is up and progress to the next room.

Susuyai Room Two Solution

Link connects a wheel to a rail in Susuyai Shrine Room 2

Once you enter the room, you'll notice a platform dangling from a set of rails in front of you.

To your left are a set of wheels, of which you'll need one to complete the puzzle.

Grab a wheel and straighten it out so that the arrow is facing forward to the end of the rail.

Place the wheel on the rails pushed up against the stopper.

Lift the vertical portion of the dangling platform above the wheel, carefully positioning it.

Then, attach the wheel to the platform and climb to the standing area below it.

Hit the wheel and ride it to the end to collect your rewards and complete the shrine.

Susuyai Shrine Rewards

Link rides a platform to the Susuyai Shrine Ending.

After taking a moment to grab the shrine's chest, your total rewards will add up to the following:

  1. A Light Of Blessing
  2. Five Arrows
