Ishodag Shrine is all about wind. How to use Fans, how to take advantage of updrafts, and how to combine your abilities to construct windy machines. The tests within this shrine are varied, and any one of them can be a potential stumbling block, so without further ado, here's how to complete the shrine.

How To Complete Ishodag Shrine: A Windy Device

Tears of the Kingdom - Ishodag Shrine - A fan pointing up into the air

The first puzzle that you're confronted with when you enter Ishodag Shrine is a simple one - use Ultrahand to grab the Fan from the left and place it near the wall, facing upwards.

Give the Fan a smack to activate it, and you can ride the updraft up to the next level using your paraglider.

Tears of the Kingdom - Ishodag Shrine - A makeshift boat with a fan attached

The next puzzle requires you to place a fan on a wooden board to turn it into a boat. With Ultrahand, attach the Fan to the board with the fan facing away from the board, and place it in the water. Get on the board and, again, hit the Fan. It should propel you all the way to the other side.

Before you deal with the third and final puzzle, dismantle your boat and bring the Fan you used to the other side with you. To the right, you'll find a long platform attached to a rod that has a chest attached to it.

Face the platform so that the chest is pointing to the right. Place the Fan from your makeshift boat either on the bottom left side - on the other side of the chest. We'll deal with this later.

Tears of the Kingdom - Ishodag Shrine - Attaching Fans to a platform

You'll find two more Fans around the area. Pick them up and Attach them to the bottom of the platform connected to the back wall. They should be facing downward as if to propel you into the air. To activate them while standing on the platform, perform a jumping attack.

Two Fans should provide the propulsion required to lift you right into the air.

Tears of the Kingdom - Ishodag Shrine - Activating a Fan with a bow

At the top of the wall, drop down to the ledge next to the long platform with the chest. Activate the Fan you attached to it earlier - this will rotate the platform around and let you open the chest, which contains an Opal.

Use the dual-Fan lift to get back to the top again, and then exit the shrine, Blessing of Light in hand.
