As you progress through The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you'll be surprised at just how much the world of Hyrule has changed. Settlements are uncannily different thanks to their problems, but none moreso than the Korok Forest. What was once a joyful place is now filled with gloom, and the Great Deku Tree is unresponsive.

As you try to figure out what's gone wrong here, you'll want to grab the handy fast-travel point at Musanokir Shrine, which holds a puzzle within in return for a Blessing of Light. This is a fun challenge that involves manipulating physics, so let's dive in.

How To Complete Musanokir Shrine: Swing To Hit

Tears of the Kingdom - Musanokir Shrine - Creating a bridge

The first puzzle of this shrine involves turning the objects in front of you into a functional bridge. This serves as a quick primer into just how heavy those large metal cubes are.

To bring the long platform up and turn it into a working bridge, use Ultrahand on the ball attached to it, bring it up, and then attach it to the cube on the other side of the gap.

To open the door in front of you, you'll need to first remove the metal cube from the bridge in the first puzzle. Now, take it over to the right, where you'll find a large target and another dangling ball. Attach the cube to the bottom of the ball, and then use Ultrahand to lift it into the air opposite the target.

Let go of the cube, and momentum will swing it at the target, striking it and opening up the way forward.

Tears of the Kingdom - Musanokir Shrine - Using a pole as a platform

In the third and final room, your first puzzle is to find a way over to the chest on the platform against the wall. Grab the nearby pole and place it upright - you can attach it to the cube if you're worried that it will fall over. Place it near the ledge, climb up it, and then glide over to the chest. It contains a Large Zonai Charge.

Glide back to the main puzzle area. You'll have to work with a block on a rail and yet another chained ball. To solve this, do two things:

  • Attach the pole to the top of the block so that it is facing the target horizontally.
  • Attach the cube to the bottom of the ball.

As you did in the previous room, pull the cube back as far as it will go, and then let go. The momentum will shoot the block forwards, and the pole will strike the target. This will unlock the shrine's exit.
