The Sifumim Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom tests a range of your combat skills. You’ll be using only what the shrine gives you, so it can be a tough challenge, especially if you arrive here without many hearts under your belt.

To make it through to the end of this trial, you’ll need to know what to expect and what can be found in the room. It might take you a couple of tries, as the Constructs’ elementally-Fused arrows can hit hard, but with the right strategy, you can earn the Light of Blessing.

When you enter the Sifumim Shrine, you’ll have all of your equipment taken from you, including food and meals, so you won't be able to heal.

Before entering the shrine, it’s a good idea to eat meals that boost your temporary hearts and your defense.

If you’re confident in your ability to dodge attacks, you can boost your attack power instead.

Grab the Long Stick, Wooden Stick, and Old Wooden Shield on your left.

Ahead of you, there’s a small area leading to a river of water and two sets of wooden boxes, as well as some barrels.

For now, hide behind the wooden boxes to avoid drawing the attention of the Constructs, and to avoid their attacks if they do spot you.

Wait for a platform with a Construct on it to float around on the river. When you can safely jump onto the bottom ledge, do so, and then use Ascend to jump up to the higher platform. Kill the Construct here.

The other Constructs will most likely notice you during this. Be wary of them shooting arrows at you.

Make sure not to drop in the water, as some use electricity.

Collect all the loot it drops. You should have some arrows now and some elemental fruits to Fuse to them, so aim at the Constructs on the floating platforms and shoot as many as you can.

The Construct in the center of the room is a Captain Construct II and more difficult to defeat, so leave it for now.

If you didn’t kill all the Constructs using your arrows, use the same method of jumping onto the bottom platform and using Ascend to get the jump on them from below. Make sure to grab the loot off the Constructs you destroy.

Climb up to the next level using one of the ladders, or paraglide over after using Ascend on a tall platform. Here, you'll do the same as before.

Use Ascend on a lower platform to reach the Constructs and attack them, then use arrows with elemental fruit Fused to them once you have enough height.

One of the floating platforms also has the shrine's chest on it, above the Construct.

Kill the Construct on the lower platform and then use Ascend to reach the chest.

Once all the Constructs on the floating platforms are dealt with, all that’s left is the Captain in the center. Head to the back of the room and use Ascend on the bridge that leads to the exit.

Turn towards where the Captain Construct is, and you’ll see a Spiked Iron Ball. Fuse this to one of your weapons to increase its attack power.

Head down to the Captain Construct. It has a bow and arrows and access to Ice Fruits, so it can freeze you if you’re not careful.

If you can, crouch and sneak up to it from behind to get in a Sneakstrike. Keep attacking it with your Fused weapon and strafe to dodge its attacks until it goes down.

Constructs will immediately die when they make contact with water, so try to hit it towards the edge so it falls off the platform and into the river.

Long weapons are good for this, so use the Long Stick if you still have it.

Once the final Construct is down, your equipment will be returned to you and you can leave through the back of the room to receive the Light of Blessing.
