The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Jochi-iu Shrine is a puzzle you might be familiar with. Essentially a game of Jenga with your Ultrahand Tools, you'll need to practice a steady hand and no small amount of patience and focus to keep the whole thing from falling apart.

This shrine-puzzle sits on the hill above the East Akkala Stable in Deep Akala, and it's a nice checkpoint for the Malanya, the Horse God, as well. And although the puzzle seems intimidating, it's a fairly easy and straightforward challenge worth the initial struggle.

Walking into the room, the first and most obvious thing to observe is the giant tower ahead. It's comprised of several metal bars stacked precariously on top of one another with an orange ball on top.

Second, there's an electric current to your right that you'll need to complete. Unfortunately, that requires two of the metal bars on the tower.

There are a few guaranteed safe bars, and you'll need only two to complete the puzzle. You can take:

  • The leftmost metal bar on the fifth tier from the bottom
  • The center bar on the third tier from the bottom

Place both to link the two ends of the electric circuit to create a working, moving platform.

Jump onto the now-working platform to ride over beside the tower. You can now grab the orange ball from the top of the tower carefully with your Ultrahand.

Take the ball back with you to the switch to open the exit door.

You can gimp this entire puzzle by selecting the metal bars with your Ultrahand and, instead of moving them, Attach them all together. By gluing the parts of this tower together, you can pick up the entire tower and carry it over to your side. Since the puzzle only resets if the bars fall into the chasm, it doesn't matter if it falls apart on your side of the dungeon.

Turn the tower over at the top of the ramp, unstick the ball at the top (if it's been glued), and place it into the switch to skip the puzzle. It's not as satisfying at finishing the puzzle as intended, but it's certainly funny.

Before you leave, you can take the two metal bars off the electric circuit now. Use them to create a bridge over to the chest on the upper platform nearby for a powerful Zonaite Bow.

Additionally, there's a chest with a Large Zonaite hidden in the tower on its far left side. You can pick this out with your Ultrahand, or you can use the strategy of gluing together the entire tower and pulling it over to your side to make this a little safer.

Whichever you choose, you'll be able to walk out of this trial with two prizes and a Light of Blessing.
