The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has no shortage of fun and incredibly creative puzzles, but Mayachideg Shrine might easily be one of the most hilarious and exciting of them all. Although you can't bring any of your items into the shrine with you, what you get in return is well worth the loss.

In the Akkala Highlands, Mayachideg Shrine serves as a waypoint for its South Akkala Stable. This means it's as much convenient as it is a blast to play, and there's no downside to spending your time with this cute little challenge. And besides, who doesn't like getting revenge on the Zonai Constructs with roombas of mass destruction?

How To Complete Mayachideg Shrine: The Hunt

Mayachideg Shrine Map Location And Activating First Robot

As you walk into the shrine naked and empty-handed, you'll be given one wooden stick to start with. And it's not meant for whacking enemies this time.

Ahead, you'll notice two small devices. These little things are tiny robots that are loyal to you. They look and sound like roombas, and they're here to help you clean up this shrine's mess.

Link Awkwardly Places Metal Spike Boards To Tiny Robot Devices

Also in this room are two metal platforms with spikes on them. For an added attack bonus and some protection for these little guys, you can pick them up with your Ultrahand and Attach them to your war minions.

Strike the tiny robots with your stick to activate them, and they'll start rolling down the hill to take on the Zonai Construct below. Sit back and watch the chaos unfold.

Link Places The Ally Robots Into The Constructs Room

Once the enemy is defeated, run down and grab the bow and arrows provided.

The next room will open for you, and inside is a base filled with Constructs. Your tiny roombas in this room won't go charging in after them on their own, so you'll need to pick them up with Ultrahand and place them in.

Link Fires Arrow At Ally Robot To Activate In Enemy Room

Once inside the room, they'll begin the war charge against the Constructs. In the meantime, aim your bow to strike the small robot on the first platform to the right of the Construct ahead.

As chaos ensues, dash into the fray and go up the platform on the far right. There's another robot here, and you can attach an Ice and Thunder Emitter to it (as well as a long metal platform). Drop him down onto the ground in the direction of the Constructs, and he'll take care of the rest.

Sometimes, this little guy gets confused. He may need some extra help, and you might need to carry him farther forward. Alternatively, you can bring him with you up the back of the next section.

Link Attaches Laser Emitter To A Robot And Brings To Enemies

Go up the central section from the back now and take care to avoid the Captain Construct that wields a spear near here. He may target you instead. If so, you'll need to take some evasive maneuvers and activate the robot nearby without attaching anything to him just yet.

When you get the chance, attach the laser-emitter onto the robot here.

Another Construct can be found at the top of this section, and although there's no allied robot to activate up here, there is a Cannon Blaster. You'll want to grab that for some extra fireworks and laughs. Attach it to any roomba-bot you feel like giving it to.

Link Attaches Flame Emitter Flamethrower To Allied Robot

Additionally, there's a final bot on the remaining section. There's a flame-emitter here for some flamethrower action, so attach that and send the final guy forward.

There are also two small metal spike balls in the central section, but it's almost overkill at this point, and they're well-guarded.

Link Watches As Robots Destroy Constructs With Cannon Fire

Wait for your bots to finish off the Constructs, and take evasive maneuvers where needed.

Occasionally, your little guys might get flipped over by the Constructs. You'll need to pick them up and rotate them the right way to put them back into action.

Once all the Constructs are cleaned up, the trial will end, and you'll get to walk out of here with a prize from the chest ahead, a blessing, and a very, very big grin.
