The Climbing Set reappears in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each piece of the armour lets you climb faster, which is the same passive effect the set had in Breath of the Wild. The pieces are easier to collect this time around, being in close proximity to your start location.

The Climbing Gear chest piece is the easiest to grab, so we suggest starting there. The other two bits of the set are found to the east, around the Zora Domain. Wearing the whole set will increase Link's climbing speed. This effect stacks three times if you have the whole set, giving you a huge bonus to climbing when you need to scale all the things in Hyrule.

Where To Find The Climbing Gear Chest

To find the Climbing Gear chest piece, make for the North Hyrule Plain Cave. You can reach this location by heading west from Lookout Landing, towards Hebra.

As you cross the bridge with the sleeping Hinox, you will see a cave on your right and the New Serenne Stable to your left further up the road.

Head into the cave first, since this is where you will find the Climbing Gear.

There are two Like Likes in the cave next to each. Head down the ramp and deal with the central Like Like first. You will be safe from the second one.

Use Ascend on the ledge the central Like Like was on to reach the next path. Continue on the route until you get to a stone bridge.

Cross the bridge and deal with the Horriblin on the ceiling. To your left, there will be two waterfalls. Go up the ramp slightly and go through the waterfall that is indicated by glowing Brightcaps.

Through the waterfall, you will find an ornately decorated chest. Open it to claim the Climbing Gear.

Where To Find The Climbing Boots

You're looking for the Upland Zorana Byroad cave, which can be found to the southwest of the Upland Zorana Skyiew Tower. You can find the entrance at these coordinates: 2866, 0336, 0229.

Travel through the cave until you come to an area that has a branching path. It's a room with a central pool of water, with a path to the right and left.

Head to the left path and fight the stone Like Like. Continue along the path and drop down until you come to a room with flooded ruins, and a sluice gate door at the other end of the room.

Travel over to it and raise the gate up with your Ultrahand to drain the water from the room. From the door, turn around and take a left to find a path through the wall.

Where To Find The Climber's Bandana

We recommend getting this one last since the other two parts of the Climber's set will help you in this wet cave.

Enter Ploymus Mountain Cave, which is east of the Zora Domain and on the ledge below Ihen-a Shrine located on top of the peak near Mipha Court. The coordinates for the cave are 3655, 0538, 0271.

You will need some Slip Resistance in this cave, due to the elevation and the walls being wet.

Climb up and move along the platforms when you enter the cave.

Wear the other pieces of the Climber's Set you've gathered so far since it will help you keep on top of your stamina and the slippery surfaces.

This cave is one long room, so all you need to do is get to the end. Climb the final ledge and turn right to find the chest. Open it to grab the Climbers Bandana, the final piece of the Climber's Armour Set.
