Some of the shrines found in the sky are also associated with quests, making them more unique in comparison to their land-locked cousins down below. There's definitely a myriad of intricate locations on the ground in Hyrule, but don't neglect what's below and above you, there's plenty to see.

How To Start The Shrine Quest

You'll need to reach the Kumamayn Shrine, located in the Necluda Sky Archipelago in order to begin the quest. If you're still on the ground, launch yourself from the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower to get into the sky.

Paraglide to the southeast from your launch point and try to land on the first spot you see to reach the Archipelago. You'll see a few small islands; your destination is the long, slightly L-shaped island beside a giant circular arena.

Make your way to this island and interact with the shrine to receive The Necluda Sky Crystal quest.

The shrine will be inaccessible at first but can be reactivated by retrieving its large green crystal.

There will be a very long beam of green light emitting from the shrine that shows you where the crystal is.

Once you spot the direction of the green light beam, head off eastward toward the circular island to encounter a small obstacle in your path.

On your way to the island, you'll have to glide across a gap to reach the next landing area.

Take note of the large launching device on your route to the circular island; you will need it soon.

Move past the launcher toward the circular arena to find yourself face-to-face with a massive Flux Construct holding your green crystal.

Engage the Construct and reclaim that green crystal using whatever method you see fit.

The fight is entirely optional here, so you can steal the crystal and run away if you're not prepared for a fight.

Once you've either defeated the Construct or simply stolen the crystal, return to the island where you saw the launcher.

You'll have to reposition the launcher to face the western island where you first discovered the shrine.

Use the stake on the launcher to set it in an angled position (about 70 – 75 degrees), so it will create a longer arc for any launched object.

Move the launcher as close to the edge as possible. Sometimes the force of the launch isn't as much as you'd expect, so take every precaution.

Grab the green crystal and launch it back to the western island, then follow suit by launching yourself as well.

Grab the crystal and carry on with it toward the Kumamayn Shrine.

Once you reach the shrine, a short cutscene will play showing the crystal being absorbed and enlarged to the size of a normal shrine crystal.

Congratulations, you reactivated Kumamayn Shrine and completed The Necluda Sky Crystal quest.
