The Beckoning Woman is one such quest where you should be prepared to run from point to point, but otherwise, the story will transpire quickly. Hyrule is a dangerous place, and it's unlike Link to pass up the chance to help a stranger, especially a random villager in need.

How To Start The Beckoning Woman

Ralera, The Beckoning Woman, speaks with Link in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Firstly, to begin, you'll need to make your way to the Outskirt Stable in Central Hyrule.

If you've completed the Rota Ooh Shrine, then you'll find the stable to the right of it.

Once you reach the Outskirt Stable, speak to a few folks, and you'll hear rumblings of a woman who recently requested help from one of the villagers, but they were unable to keep up with her.

Go looking along the road, per the villager's story, and you'll come to a tree with the woman standing beside it.

Approach her and speak to hear her story about a strange woman she is protecting.

Following The Woman

Next, you'll need to travel along the road to the east, as the woman instructs you to do.

You will notice several enemies along the path, which explains why the woman said not to attract evil. Defeat them and continue.

Eventually, you'll find the woman at the bottom of a cliff in a grassy opening where she will be calling out to you. Approach her and talk.

First Meeting Spot

Once you finish your conversation, the woman will tell you to follow her again, this time to the top of the cliff she was just standing beside.

Make haste and climb the brief road up to the cliff side where the woman will be waiting next to a stone.

Second Meeting Spot

Again, speak to the woman, and she will assure you that the journey is almost over, lastly telling you to meet her on the cliff opposite the one you are currently standing on.

Take a look over at the cliff and prepare yourself, you will have to glide over to the other cliff using your paraglider for the quickest route.

Final Meeting Spot

You've finally made it to your destination. Look over to the ruins on the cliff you just reached; the woman should be standing beside them, waiting for you to approach.

If you haven't healed your hearts recently, do so now.

The Truth Revealed

The Yiga Clan footsoldier fights Link in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

When you approach the woman for the final time, she will reveal her ruse to lure you to this spot, unveiling her true form as a Yiga Clan footsoldier.

You will be forced into a fight here with the Yiga footsoldier.

The Yiga footsoldier can split into multiple copies, so be prepared to deal with attacks from all directions.

The fight is relatively challenging if you're not quick on the draw. Be as aggressive as possible to quickly take this Yiga Clan member out before you're overwhelmed by attacks from their clones.

With some well-timed hits, you'll defeat the footsoldier, ruining their plans to trap and defeat Link.

Quest Rewards

After their defeat, listen to the Yiga footsoldier's spiel, then talk to Penn, who will land beside you following the Yiga Clan's departure.

Once you're finished talking, Penn will reward you handsomely for your efforts. You'll receive the following:

  • 50 Rupees
  • A Lucky Gazette Fabric for your paraglider
  • An Eightfold Blade on the ground from the Yiga Clan member.

The fabric can be applied to your paraglider at the Hateno Dye Shop.

Enjoy your rewards, and remember that everything is not always as simple as it seems in Hyrule; be on your guard.
