Several of the Gerudo you’ll see here will have quests for you to complete, including one named Rotana, who’s interested in the stelae found in the shelter. However, she only knows of two, when there are supposed to be six. She’ll ask you if you can help her find the rest.

When you enter the Gerudo Shelter, Rotana is towards the back left of the room, next to a pile of blankets and luggage. Speak to her to initiate the Heroines’ Secret — she’ll tell you about the two stelae next to her and what they say.

There are supposed to be four more stelae in the shelter, but she can’t find them, and would like you to take photos of them for her.

You can find and take pictures of the stelae in any order.

Head through the room directly to the left of Rotana, past the Goddess Statue. Go into the Voe and Vai classroom with the painting on the wall.

As you enter the classroom, there’s a somewhat rectangular-shaped statue on your left. Walk around so you’re facing it from the opposite end to where you are now.

You’ll notice that the other side has text on it like the stela that Rotana showed you, but it’s only one half of the stela — the other half is further back on the wall. Take out your camera and adjust your positioning until the two pieces align, then take a photo.

A text box saying “A Monument to Seven Heroines” will pop up when they’re correctly aligned.

Leave the classroom and head right (not to the central room). Go through the door on the left. The stela is on the left here, but a piece is missing.

Equip Ultrahand. A small part of the missing piece is visible in the pile of sand.

Grab it with Ultrahand and place it in the gap in the stela, then take a photo of it completed.

You will need to rotate the piece so that it fits in correctly.

Head back to the central room where Rotana is. Go through to the other side of the shelter (the right-hand side if you came through the shelter’s entrance).

On your right is the jail — you want to get in there, but the guard won’t allow you to just walk in. Instead, look to the entrance to the left of the jail. Go in here.

In the storeroom, immediately turn right to see a wall of shelves. Move the two white pots on the bottom left out of the way (or just smash them) and crouch through the gap here.

When you’re in the adjoining room, use Ascend. You should find yourself in the jail cell. The stela is on the back wall, directly opposite the prisoner. Take a picture of it.

To leave the jail, speak to the guard at the door, and she’ll open the door for you.

Head back to Rotana. The final stela is in the room directly past the first two monuments Rotana showed you. In this room, turn left to see piles of rubble on the wall.

Either throw a bomb flower or use a rock-fused weapon to break the rubble and reveal the monument.

Take a picture and take what you’ve found back to Rotana. She’ll tell you what each stela says and give you 100 rupees as a reward.
