This is where Hateno Village comes in – there’s a feud between tradition and trendiness that’s brewing, and the people of Hateno are caught in the middle.

Cece is a fashion designer that’s moved to town and tries to unseat Reede as town mayor, tasking you with handing out mushrooms to the people of Hateno Village. Here’s where to find everyone who gets mushrooms for the “Team Cece or Team Reede” quest.

To begin this quest, you'll need to first head to Hateno Village if you haven't been through there already. Located

Speak to the gathering of people outside of Ventest Clothing to gain access to the exhibit itself, where you'll meet Cece and see a cutscene between her and Reede that kicks off the mayoral race quests in Hateno.

There are multiple smaller quests that contribute to the completion of the mayoral race. These are "Cece's Secret," "Reede's Secret," and "A New Signature Food."

However, you'll still need to finish "Team Cece or Team Reede" as well before the election can get underway. "The Mayoral Election" begins once you've finished all four quests.

Cece is quick to recruit Link to her side, asking you to distribute eight mushrooms around Hateno Village in an attempt to sway the last few holdouts who haven't yet bought their Cece-brand clothing.

When Cece hands you the eight mushrooms, all she tells you is that you need to find townsfolk who aren't travelers, children, or Reede's family. Thankfully, she does tell you how to recognize these people - they're Hateno residents not wearing Cece-brand clothes.

It's important to note that the townsfolk of Hateno have a daytime and nighttime schedule. If you don't see someone at a given time of day, check back in 12 hours or so.

All you need to do is speak to these folks and offer them a mushroom when prompted.

They'll also reveal hints about which of the other townsfolk might be in need of mushrooms, continuously pointing you toward farmers and the elderly around Hateno Village as likely targets.
