One of the most immediately obvious changes in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the addition of Zonai devices that Link can use to build all kinds of machinery. While some are using this new power to find fun new solutions to classic Zelda puzzles, others are using them to commit war crimes.

And hey, we’re not here to judge how you play – we’re here to tell you where to find all the Zonai device dispensers in Tears of the Kingdom. Prepare to venture all over Hyrule – throughout, above, and below finding all the Zonai device dispensers.

What Are Zonai Device Dispensers?

In Tears of the Kingdom, Zonai devices are pivotal to navigating the various regions of Hyrule using your Ultrahand ability to craft things like imaginative vehicles, powerful mechs, and more.

You're introduced to them during your beginning scenes on Great Sky Island, able to purchase a number of items from one before heading down to the surface to use them in all kinds of "creative" ways.

These gachapon-style machines function kind of like a bubblegum machine - drop Zonaite into the receptacle at the bottom, and receive an assortment of Zonai Devices stocked within that machine.

Link can hold up to five items in his hands at once, so the number of capsules you'll receive will vary based on how much Zonaite you put in. The more Zonaite you drop in, the bigger your haul, with Large Zonaite yielding more capsules per unit than regular Zonaite.

Each Dispenser holds a different selection of Devices. No two Dispensers have the same exact menu, meaning you'll be exploring the skies over Hyrule quite a bit trying to collect everything you need.

The dispensers each carry between three and six different items per machine, offering a pretty wide assortment at each. Once they're in your possession, you can then fuse Zonai devices to things like weapons, shields, and so much more.

All in all, we've found 28 total Device Dispensers across the entirety of Tears of the Kingdom, though some are tied to lengthy main story quests.

Only five of them are around Hyrule - three in Hyrule proper, and two in the Depths to help you navigate the creepiness that awaits down there.

All Sky Island Device Dispenser Locations

Since you're dealing with Zonai technology here, it should come as no surprise that you'll spend quite a lot of time among the sky islands and archipelagos up there, searching for shrines, materials, and - of course - device dispensers.

The easiest way to access these if you're not already headed there through main questlines is to use the Skyview Towers to get the height you need. Then, between your paraglider, Tulin (if you've finished the Rito main story arc), and various moving platforms, you'll be able to navigate throughout the sky islands.

Of the 28 Zonai device dispensers we found in Tears of the Kingdom, 23 of them are on sky islands.
