There is an abundance of Koroks to find in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, just as there was in Breath of the Wild. However, with this comes plenty of new and returning puzzles you must solve or hiding places you must find if you want to get your hands on those Korok Seeds.

You'll be finding and assisting Koroks at every turn during your adventure through Hyrule, so you'll soon be familiar with the majority of the activities they offer. But which ones are the most entertaining and gratifying?

8 Running Around Invisible

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - Invisible Korok Petals

This one is a cute example of what a Korok gets up to, but not the most interesting to encounter. Sometimes, while traveling the wilds of Hyrule, you'll see a little light zooming around on the ground, followed by some glowing petals. It might be circling a tree or weaving within some structures, but it's not hard to spot when you come across it.

Catch up with the light and interact with it to reveal the Korok that was having the absolute best zoomies of its whole life. Once you've managed to intercept its hyper-jogging route, it'll reward you with a Korok Seed.

7 Yellow Flower

Yellow flowers are pretty common out there in nature. Go to any field or large body of grass, and you'll see loads of them - especially in the spring months. However, one lone flower standing proudly atop a structure? Yeah, something is off there.

Investigate the flower and it will disappear when you get close, reappearing somewhere nearby. Go for that one, and it'll do the same thing. Keep at it and follow where it leads until the flower appears white - then, when approached, a Korok will reveal itself to you, rewarding you with a Seed.

6 Race To The Target

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - Yellow Target Korok Puzzle

Picking up the pace a little, this Korok puzzle will require a little bit of speed. Stand atop a conveniently placed stump on the ground, usually decorated with a leaf imprint. Once you do, a target ring will appear nearby.

There are two types of this specific puzzle in Tears of the Kingdom: one will begin ticking down, requiring you to reach the target before it disappears; the other (new to Tears of the Kingdom) will have a target above another stump nearby, and requires you to reach that stump without touching the ground. Reach the target in either type, and that Korok Seed will be yours.

5 Floating White Flower

An entirely new Korok puzzle for Tears of the Kingdom, this one will appear as another type of flower. However, getting close to it will do nothing, and there is no option to interact with it. Instead, you will have to slash at it with a blade.

Once you have, the flower will detach and float upwards. It will then gently come down, but its course will be unclear. Catch and interact with it before it hits the ground in order to reveal the Korok, and in turn, get another Korok Seed.

4 Red Arrows

Another new type of Korok activity, this one is quite simple. If you spot a small wooden sign in the shape of a red-tipped arrow, then you know you should begin looking around. There will be other arrows like this in the area too, pointing in different directions.

Follow the arrows' indications, and there will be a point they all converge - perhaps atop a tree or a structure. Once you reach that destination, some floating petals will appear that you can interact with, once more revealing a Korok.

3 Pinwheel Targets

If you spend any number of hours exploring Hyrule in Breath of the Wild, then you'll be familiar with the Pinwheels. These little red Pinwheels will usually appear on top of rocks or structures, and glow at night so that they'll be visible in the dark. Once you stand next to it, a challenge will appear.

Nearby, you'll be able to spot floating targets or jars being tossed through the air. They'll move around, disappear and reappear, or have multiple doing various things. Hit each one with an arrow in order to complete this little challenge, and get yourself another Korok Seed.

2 Hiding Under A Rock

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - Link Looking At A Lone Rock

This one is one of the best just because it's one of the classics, and is so ridiculously simple. You'll be walking around, taking in the environment, and then there it is: a very oddly placed, lone rock, just sitting there. Couldn't possibly be a secret waiting to be discovered, right?

Go and lift up the rock and a Korok will pop out of thin air from underneath it, handing you a Korok Seed in its joy. That's it, that's all there is to it. Just be careful to not drop the rock back down on the Korok, he's just a little guy.

1 Korok Has Lost Their Friend

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - Two Koroks Reunited At A Camp

A new recurring puzzle in Tears of the Kingdom and one that feels like the main Korok activity available, you'll come across many Koroks with large backpacks who are in distress. Speak with them, and they'll inform you that they've been separated from their friend, and will point you in the direction of a smoke signal nearby.

It's your job to get this Korok back to their friend, by whatever means necessary. Put it in a wagon and take them there by horse; construct a flying device or hot air balloon, and transport them to their destination; if it's mostly downhill... well, Koroks roll quite easily. One way or another, reunite these little buddies, and they'll reward you with two Korok Seeds.
