Fortnite fans think that a leaked skin codenamed "DualParadox" could be referring to Dragon Ball Super's Goku Black thanks to its pink hair variant and cel-shaded style.
Over the past year, Fortnite has started to develop quite a strong relationship with anime, starting with Naruto last year and June and continuing all the way to Attack on Titan as part of the latest season. As great as those collaborations have been (well, aside from Deku's Smash), by far the most popular one so far has been Dragon Ball, which introduced Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and more. Even with two skin collections already, it seems like there's a chance that we'll be getting more in the future.
Reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR recently shared some information on a new skin that's currently in the works codenamed "DualParadox". According to the data, the skin is cel-shaded, has a variant with a pink head, and wields a dual pickaxe of some kind, which apparently stays out while the character is sprinting.
In the comments underneath the post, most of the speculation seems to point towards the skin being Dragon Ball Super's beloved villain, Goku Black. Most of the reasoning behind this stems from the skin being cel-shaded and having a variant with a pink head, which would match with Goku Black's Super Saiyan Rose transformation. There's also the name "DualParadox", which would suit the fact that Goku Black is a combination of Goku and Zamasu. That, combined with the fact that it's Goku Day next week, lends a lot of evidence to the idea of the skin being Goku Black.
That being said, there are some aspects that make the skin seem a little unlikely to be Goku Black. The biggest point of contention comes from the pickaxe, as Goku Black doesn't really dual-wield anything in Dragon Ball Super. The pickaxe also uniquely stays out while sprinting, which doesn't really suit him either. That being said, Fortnite regularly takes liberties with pickaxes to make them a little more unique.
Although most Fortnite fans seem to think that Goku Black is the obvious choice, others have suggested that it could be Denji from Chainsaw Man, as the cel-shaded style and unique pickaxe that stays out while running would match with Denji's abilities, especially considering Ash's unique chainsaw pickaxe that stays out while he sprints. That being said, the pink head variant doesn't really match there, which seems to back up Goku Black a bit more.
As great as more Dragon Ball content would be, it's also worth noting that Fortnite also has its fair share of original anime skins now, including ones like Rift Knight Kieran. It's possible that DualParadox is also an original skin that just happens to share some similarities with Goku Black.
