A leak on the PlayStation Store seems to have accidentally confirmed a rumour from last week that suggested that Dragon Ball Super's Goku Black is coming to Fortnite.
Over the past few years, Fortnite has become pretty closer with anime, teaming up with series like Naruto, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan for special skin packs, events, and in-game weapons and items. As great as those have all been, the most exciting collaboration so far has been with Dragon Ball, which has received the most skins so far, alongside a popular in-game special attack in the form of the Kamehameha. It was definitely more popular than Deku's Smash, at least.
That popularity meant that it was just a matter of time until we saw more Dragon Ball content added to the game, something that was suggested last week to be happening soon, as rumours spread that Dragon Ball Super's Goku Black was going to join the roster in the near future. This rumour started thanks to a leaked skin that was found in the files called "DualParadox" who was rumoured to wield a scythe and have a variant with pink hair, which certainly seemed to indicate it was Goku Black.
Now, a week later, the PS4 PlayStation Store has seemingly jumped the gun a little early and leaked a promo that shows that Goku Black is indeed coming to the game and that everyone was right about the DualParadox skin. As showcased by reliable Fortnite insider iFireMonkey, several Fortnite players have reported seeing a promo for Goku Black appear on the PS4 store, replacing the Star Wars one that's been there for the past few weeks.
It seems that it's specifically the PS4 store right now and not the PS5 one, although the reasoning behind that isn't clear right now. Still, the image is definitely legitimate, as several PS4 users have been able to see it and share it on Twitter. Although it was previously assumed that Goku Black was going to be added to the game for Goku Day, May 9, that's already passed so it's not clear when he's intended to be added. It's likely very soon if the promo is already appearing, though.
Thanks to the earlier leaks, we already know quite a lot about the Goku Black skin. We can see from the image that it'll have a base form, but we also know that he can turn into his Super Saiyan Rose form at any point. It's also suggested that he will have twin pickaxes and that they have a unique animation that stays out when he's sprinting.
