Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 leaks are upon us and they seem to have confirmed the long-rumoured tropical theme, as well as a collaboration with Transformers.
We're just 12 days away from the next season of Fortnite and, right on cue, leaks have started popping up that give us an idea of what to expect from the next big update. For a while now, it's been speculated that Chapter 4 Season 3 would have a tropical theme, something that seems to have just been confirmed thanks to a leaked image of the season's loading screen.
Over on Twitter, reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR shared an image of the loading screen, which first surfaced on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. The image shows several characters running in a jungle area, with two of the skins appearing to be Fortnite originals and another being none other than Optimus Prime from Transformers.
A Transformers collaboration is something that's been speculated about since last year, and it looks to have finally come to pass. It's not clear whether Optimus Prime is the only Transfomer on the island, but his appearance in the season's loading screen seems to indicate that he's going to be one of the unlockable skins in the battle pass. Prime being in the battle pass was backed up by ShiinaBR, who confirmed that he's not the secret skin of Chapter 4 Season 3 and that the secret skin will seemingly be an original character.
Although Optimus Prime is the clear highlight of the leak, the loading screen image does confirm some other interesting things about the season. For starters, it looks like grind rails are going to be getting a retheme in the update, as one of the characters can be seen grinding on vines in the background.
As highlighted by reliable Fortnite insider HYPEX, the loading screen also seems to confirm that raptors are going to be a rideable mount in this season, as one of the characters can be seen riding one in the image. HYPEX suggests that these raptors can get "exhausted", which suggests that they'll have a stamina system that's similar to cars needing fuel in the game.
HYPEX also put together a list of all of the leaks for the season so far, detailing everything that's been suggested or leaked to appear in the upcoming season. According to the leaks, it's likely that we'll be getting a desert and volcanic area alongside the tropical biome, and there will also be a new racing mode with different speed objects, cosmetics, race tracks, and a car garage. According to ShiinaBR, this new racing mode will have its own battle pass.
