The release of Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is just around the corner, and Atlus and Sega are doing their best to hype the title up before it's release on June 1 next year. In an effort to achieve this, the developer has exclusively shared boss fight encounters between Hellion from Etrian Odyssey 2 and Ketos from Etrian Odyssey 3. You can find video footage of both boss fights embedded down below for your viewing pleasure.

Both boss fights pretty much take place immediately into the videos, although you do get a very brief look at the surrounding environments beforehand. The boss fights are fairly routine - there's definitely someone pretty compenent on the other side of the screen, but it's a great early look at what these revamped boss fights look and sound like before launch. At the very least, it'll tide you over until you can get your hands on the game when it launches next month.

If you're unfamiliar with Etrian Odyssey, it's essentially a dungeon-crawling RPG that has turn-based combat and primarily take place in first person. The Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is pretty much what it says on the tin. It's the first three Etrian Odyssey games, spruced up a little bit and then released in one convenient package. It has remastered graphics, sounds, and a bunch of quality of life improvements that essentially make the games the best version to play if you want to start the series.

In other Atlus news, the rumors surrounding a potential remake of Persona 3 are heating up tremendously, as recently leaked and questionable gameplay along with a new web domain has fan of the series crossing their fingers. Adding to that, a reliable insider called Im A Hero Too recently teased that Persona 3 Remake is going to be revealed at the upcoming Xbox Showcase next month, which makes sense considering ports for both Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal during an Xbox show last year.

On top of all that, there are also rumors that Atlus is gearing up for a Persona 6 announcement, as the developer is supposedly planning to launch the game in late 2024. However, you may not want to get your hopes up too high if you're an Xbox fan, as the same insider has claimed that Persona 6 will be a timed PlayStation exclusive. Not too surprising considering most Persona games have launched on PlayStation first, but a bit of a shame when there are so many Persona games available on other systems at the moment.
